Jessica Decker, MSW, LCSW, ACS, CCTP, RYT-200, Sound Practitioner
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, my goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can explore, heal, and grow. I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) with a concentration in Clinical Practice with Families and Children from Monmouth University in 2017. I am also an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) in the state of New Jersey, providing clinical supervision to provisionally licensed clinicians, including LSWs and LACs.
Throughout my career, I have worked across a variety of mental health settings, including adult community mental health programs, pediatric intensive in-home therapy, K–12 public school systems, pediatric, neonatal, and maternity hospital settings, as well as group private practice. Over the past decade, I have also had the privilege of serving as a board member and volunteer with local nonprofit organizations, including family success centers and community soup kitchens. These experiences — and the diverse communities I’ve worked alongside — have profoundly shaped both who I am as a person and the therapist I strive to be.
In 2022, I took a leap of faith and founded Healing Holistically with the intention of expanding access to compassionate, creative, and integrative mental health care. My practice is rooted in the belief that healing is not one-size-fits-all, and that each individual deserves support that honors the connection between mind, body, and nervous system.
I specialize in working with anxiety, PTSD, trauma, stress management, emotion regulation, life transitions, and self-esteem.
In addition to my clinical work, I am a Certified Sound Practitioner and a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher. Separate from my clinical scope of practice, I incorporate yoga and sound healing as holistic wellness offerings designed to support balance, restoration, and overall well-being.
My Approach
As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional — and fellow human — I approach therapy through a compassionate, trauma-informed lens that integrates EMDR, somatic work, Polyvagal Theory, and parts work. Together, we will focus on building a deeper relationship with your nervous system, understanding its role in the healing process, and exploring or reprocessing old memories and deeply ingrained beliefs. Throughout this work, I strive to hold space for every part of you with curiosity, compassion, and without judgment.
I also incorporate elements of yoga philosophy and sound healing into sessions when appropriate. Both personally and professionally, I believe that movement and sound can be powerful and meaningful additions to the healing journey.
I value balancing insight into what may be happening beneath the surface with an appreciation for the body’s innate and remarkable capacity to heal.
Just as we learn the alphabet before writing a book, developing a foundational understanding of our brains, bodies, and nervous systems can help us better navigate and regulate how we respond to both our internal experiences and the world around us. I’m honored to support you in that process.
In our work together, we may explore practices such as meditation, breathwork, yoga, grounding techniques, cognitive coping skills, and other nervous system regulation tools designed to foster greater resilience, connection, and well-being.
A Little Bit About Me… As a Human
When I am not in the office, I enjoy spending time with family & friends, cozying up with a good book, hiking with my husband & our dog Kona, camping throughout the U.S., snowboarding, yoga, meditation, kayaking, jiu-jitsu, riding my bike, outdoor photography & just generally “being” in nature.
